A study conducted by P@SHA on the tech landscape of Pakistan revealed that only 14% of Pakistan’s tech industry comprises of females. This number is significantly low as compared to other developing countries across the globe.  In Pakistan there are a number of social, cultural and economic barriers that women tech entrepreneurs face on an everyday basis. With the advent of the ongoing evolution and recent acceleration in the technology driven entrepreneurial culture in Pakistan, a number of inspiring female techies have emerged in the local landscape and are making a solid mark in the startup ecosystem.

One such individual is Sana Durani, the founder of The Blue’s Studio who has emerged as an inspiration and a role model for young girls in Khyber Pakthtunkhwa to step ahead. Sana is a Peshawar based software engineer with a passion for digital marketing. Sana draws her inspiration from the local digital marketing guru – Badar Khushnood, who is the cofounder of Bramerz – a digital marketing agency.

The Blue’s Studio is a digital marketing agency that also provides software development services. Over the last 12 months the startup has gained decent traction and due to the sheer commitment and hard work of the team, they have on boarded a number of clients offering them a variety of customized services.
