With its vision to become a leader in shaping the future of students through digital skills training, Bloggers Academy – one of the NIC’s startups, continues to make success through leaps and bounds. Due to the fueling demand of technological skills and digitization of operations across all industries, today’s jobseekers and professionals require specialized digital skills. Mentioning her vision for Bloggers Academy, Nidda Rohaila, founder of Bloggers Academy says:

“I am striving to equip the students with latest digital skills to help them stand out of the crowd when it comes to become an independent earner”.

Technology has made it easier than ever for individuals to boost their earnings with profitable side-gigs. Along with other countries of the world, young freelancers from across Asia are quickly getting in on the act. Pakistan has been ranked as 4th largest growing freelance market with a higher growth in freelance earning i.e. 47%. Bloggers Academy team is striving to provide digital skills training to fresh graduates and females so that they are capable of earning by using the freelancing platforms and also helping them in securing the projects from local market.

Bloggers Academy joined 4th cohort of NIC Peshawar and within a short span of time, made noticeable progress in development of a sustainable business model and go to market strategy. It was the sheer hard work and guidance of their coach that they got an award of $ 1700 under Capacity Enhancement, Leadership and Linkages (CELL) development program being implemented by Shaoor Foundation for Education and Awareness (SFEA). Commenting on winning this award Nidda says,

“CELL program is helping the SMEs of Pakistan in establishment and expansion of the business in the era of this economic turmoil through their continuous support. And NICs all across Pakistan are supporting the development of start-ups by providing them with advisory and administrative support services”.

Bloggers Academy envisions to serve the community by imparting the latest digital skills to the young graduates. The students who are unable to secure higher-paying government or private jobs can earn handsome amounts this way. Pakistan has the potential to move ahead but it is lagging behind due to the lack of awareness and cognizance in the field of digital marketing. Bloggers Academy has taken the lead to light up the candles to brighten the skillset of Pakistani youth.
